MORE than 500 wines from over 60 producers were showcased under one roof at Inverarity Morton’s annual portfolio tasting in Edinburgh last week.
Held in the Assembly Rooms for the sixth consecutive year, the tasting – said to be the supplier’s biggest to date – attracted more than 600 operators and staff from across the Scottish trade.
Toby Sigouin, senior wine buyer at Inverarity Morton, said: “To see so many customers enjoying our new wines was a great pleasure for me. I travelled many thousands of miles last year across the globe to source new producers and wines never before seen in the UK and it is very gratifying when all that hard work bears fruit.”
