Innovating in cocktails

COCKTAIL brand Funkin will be heading to Aberdeen next month for the latest round of its Innovation Labs training sessions.

The sessions, hosted by Stuart Bale of Crucible with London bartender Rosey Mitchell and kegged cocktail expert Romeo de Wit, are free to attend and follow last year’s theme of balancing acids and sugars in cocktails.

All attendees at the sessions will receive a copy of The Cocktail Competition Handbook by Andy Ives; the Innovation Labs will be followed by the launch of this year’s Funkin Innovation Champion cocktail competition.

The Scottish Innovation Labs session takes place at Orchid on April 30.
