BEN president Stephen McGowan was in the driving seat this month when the licensed trade charity held its annual dinner in Glasgow.
The event, attended by over 1000 members of the Scottish trade, raised £100,000 for the charity, which provides support for members of the trade who have fallen on hard times.
Following the silent auction and prize draw, in which Marco Lazzurri of Glasgow venues Tabac and Alfredo’s won the top prize of a car, after-dinner speakers Stuart Cosgrove and Hardeep Singh Kohli took to the stage.
Chris Gardner, chief executive of The Ben, said: “Huge thanks to all who attended, we had fantastic support as always with 1052 people in the room.”
