Gallery cafe set for revamp

THE Scottish Cafe, located within the Scottish National Gallery on the Mound, in Edinburgh is undergoing a significant refurbishment as part of wider £22 million investment in the gallery.

The revamp will see the cafe, which is run by restaurateurs Victor and Carina Contini, benefit from direct access from Princes Street Gardens, increased outdoor terrace capacity and an interior design makeover. The cafe is scheduled to reopen this spring.
