New den for capital operators

The Black Fox has new operators at the helm

THE operators behind late night bar and nightclub CC Blooms in Edinburgh have a new den – the Black Fox on Leith Walk.

The bar is located in a prominent trading position near to Waverley train station and the St James Quarter development.

Renovated by owner Haigh Hospitality in 2014, the Black Fox is described as “one of the most attractive bars outwith Edinburgh city centre” by selling agent Cornerstone, which marketed the Black Fox at offers of £85,000 for the leasehold interest; the current rent is £22,545 plus VAT per annum.

Barry McNeil, director of Cornerstone, who handled the sale of the leasehold to CC Blooms’ owners Mitch Stark and Tim Douglas, said: “In the last 18 months or so the rise in popularity of Leith Walk and Leith as a destination for stylish bars and restaurants has grown substantially.”
