The producer of a ‘super premium’ Canadian gin has signed a deal with Pernod Ricard UK that will see it marketed and distributed across the UK.
Ungava has a distinctive, natural yellow colour and is distilled in small batches using traditional techniques and a selection of natural herbs and berries indigenous to the Arctic region of Canada.
Chris Ellis, commercial director for Pernod Ricard UK, said the addition of Ungava to the spirit firm’s portfolio will trade consumers up “by driving excitement and intrigue”.
