Ox and Finch returns to roots

SWG3’s Acid Bar has been designed to host various dining concepts

THE operators behind Ox and Finch are set to open a Christmas pop-up at Glasgow venue SWG3 this December.

The festive residency, which will kick off at the venue’s Acid Bar on December 1 and run until Christmas Eve, is designed with larger groups and office parties in mind and will offer diners an “exclusive culinary experience”.

Each dish will be based on a ‘Christmas classic’ – from duck liver parfait, poached plum with hoisin and ginger, to Christmas pudding and clementine millefeuille.

It also represents Ox and Finch’s first appearance at SWG3 in 15 years; it previously appeared at the venue in 2003 under the banner of ‘Street Food Cartel’, which was a series of pop-ups that preceded the Ox and Finch restaurant opening on Sauchiehall Street, in Kelvingrove.
