THE team behind the five-star Fonab Castle Hotel in Perthshire toasted its fifth anniversary in style with a special celebration.
General manager Niall Thompson and the hotel’s staff marked the milestone by cutting a specially-created cake – baked as a miniature replica of the 19th century turreted castle, which overlooks Loch Faskally near Pitlochry.
Thompson said: “I’m extremely proud to celebrate this important day with my team who are so passionate about creating a first-class visitor experience, which brings our guests back time and again.”
The hotel, which is owned by Joanne and Jed Clark, has been extended from 26 to 42 bedrooms, with a further ten rooms and a spa set to follow.
