From an old hand to new

The Ballifeary Guest House
The Ballifeary Guest House has seven bedrooms.

A COUPLE of first-time operators are set to take the helm of the Ballifeary Guest House in Inverness following a deal brokered by property firm Colliers International.

The seven-bedroom business, which was offered for sale to allow current owners Bill and Morag Gilbert to retire from the trade, was purchased by Fraser Mathieson and Seonaid Campbell; the guest house is said to be “well-located” within the Highland capital.

Alistair Letham of Colliers International commented: “The popularity of the Ballifeary Guest House, with its central location in Inverness, is easily recognisable and will appeal to a range of customers and business customers alike.”

Offers around £500,000 were sought for the business; the final sales price was not disclosed.
