MORE than 80 venues have confirmed they will take part in this autumn’s Edinburgh Cocktail Week.
The event had previously been run as a weekend but high demand is said to have led to the enlarged format, which will see seven days of mixology in the capital, from October 15 to 21.
A Cocktail Village (pictured left) will also be erected in the city’s Festival Square on Lothian Road as well as a Secret Spirits Study hub and bar on Queen Street.
Those wishing to get involved can purchase wristbands and enjoy £4 signature cocktails from 15 pop-up bars led by brands such as Edinburgh Gin and Jameson.
Organiser Gary Anderson said: “Edinburgh has some of the best bars and mixologists in the world and the week is about showcasing that.”
