FORMER Scotland manager Craig Brown has declared a North Ayrshire pub ‘match-fit’ following a £140,000 refurbishment.
Harbour Lights, in Irvine, which is operated by licensee Barbara Gorman and her team, underwent a “significant” refurbishment inside and out last year thanks to a joint investment between Barbara and pubco partner, Admiral Taverns.
Since then, a further £60,000 investment has allowed for the refurbishment of the pub’s function room and kitchen, which Admiral Taverns said will allow licensee Barbara to build upon the Harbour Lights’ “growing reputation” and “cement the pub as the perfect venue to watch the World Cup and other forthcoming key sports fixtures this summer”.
