RISING demand for caffeinated cocktails is said to have been behind the team at coffee liqueur brand Tia Maria’s decision to launch a Coffee Cocktail Month.
Throughout April over 350 venues in the UK took part in the activity, designed to drive awareness of serves, including the brand’s classic Espresso Martini and Flat White Russian, and how operators can exploit the market for coffee cocktails.
In Scotland, G1 Group ran the actvity in 15 of its outlets, during which time the company reported a 320% uplift in Tia Maria sales, selling 101 bottles throughout the month, compared to 24 in April last year.
The venues also sold a total of 1849 Espresso Martinis throughout the month.
