THE former chef-patron of Leith restaurant Norn is to launch a new restaurant on the capital’s Broughton Street.
Fhior, which means true in Gaelic, will be opened by Scott Smith and wife Laura, along with members of the original Norn team, on June 6.
Serving “exciting modern Scottish food”, the new restaurant will be divided into two sections: a main 32-cover dining room and a more relaxed café/bar/shop at the front of the premises which will offer coffee and fresh pastries, pre and post dinner drinks, and a range of bar snacks throughout the day.
