New owner sought for Auld Hoose

The pub is said to have undergone a recent refurbishment

A PUB occupying a prominent corner trading position within the North Lanarkshire town of Wishaw has come onto the books of property firm Smith & Clough Business Associates.

The recently-refurbished Auld Hoose comprises a 30-cover public bar with pool table and a 20-cover lounge bar.

Currently leased to the pub’s previous owners, the business is offered for sale with vacant possession and is said to be an ideal opportunity for either a first time buyer or an independent multiple operator.

Graeme Smith, who is handling the sale, said: “The Auld Hoose is an extremely well-presented public house with a good local reputation.”

Offers over £175,000 are sought for the freehold.
