SPEYSIDE distillery The Balvenie has appointed an Isle of Lewis native as its new global ambassador.
Gemma Paterson was most recently east coast brand ambassador for The Balvenie in the US. Prior to that she had worked at The Balvenie distillery, where she earned a place on the nosing panel of parent firm William Grant & Sons.
She said: “Words can’t express how excited I am to start this next chapter in my career with The Balvenie.
“I feel so privileged to take up such a prestigious role and be given the opportunity to play a part in this great distillery.”
