THE John Crabbie whisky name has returned to the market for the first time since the 1970s with two limited edition single malts.
Crabbie 8 year old, a Highland single malt, and Crabbie 30 year old, made in Speyside, were launched last week at a Burns Supper in Edinburgh attended by industry experts including Charles MacLean.
David Brown, John Crabbie & Co’s MD, said: “For many years John Crabbie led the industry with his 8 year old blend. We thought it fitting that the first release of this era should be a limited edition 8 year old brought up to date as a single malt.”
