A RESTAURANT described as a popular fixture in Glasgow’s ‘theatreland’ has come on to the books of Cornerstone Business Agents.

Said to benefit from “tremendous footfall” from the nearby Theatre Royal, Kings Theatre, Pavilion Theatre and Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, as well as the shopping thoroughfare of Buchanan Street and Buchanan Galleries, Thai Lemongrass on Renfrew Street comprises an 80-cover open plan dining area, with a small, private dining room capable of accommodating up to 15 covers at the rear of the restaurant; there’s also a bar area.

Barry McNeil, director of Cornerstone, who is handling the sale on behalf of the owners, who wish to focus on other business interests, said: “Although trading as a Thai restaurant at present, it is thought it would suit a variety of different international trading styles.”

The lease has been placed on the market for £30,000, with an annual rent of £40,000.
