THE Scottish Government has launched its consultation on the proposed 50p price per unit of alcohol.
The consultation, which opened on Friday December 1 and can be accessed at consult.gov.scot, repeats the Scottish Government’s case for minimum pricing and seeks feedback by the deadline of January 26, 2018.
The Scottish Government has already stated that it will implement the minimum price on May 1, 2018.
