TENNENT’S Lager is helping pubs across Scotland to gear up for Christmas with the launch of a new festive pint glass.
The Christmas glassware, a first for the brand, has been distributed to 750 venues across Scotland and features snowflakes, reindeer and a Christmas tree as well as the brand’s red T logo.
The brewer is also touring its ‘Christmas helper’ – an interactive red-nosed reindeer named Rude-Olph – around selected outlets this month. The reindeer dispenses Christmas-related advice and jokes to pub customers.
Claire Arnott, head of customer marketing at Tennent’s, said: “As we reach the peak trading period of December, we wanted to support our customers as much as possible, giving them every opportunity to capitalise on the increased footfall and generate sales through the till.
“From our new bespoke festive glassware to our Christmas temp Rude-olph, we wanted to round off the year in a way that gives Tennent’s drinkers a chuckle.”
Bar activations of Rude-Olph will be in:
- December 14-16 – The Black Bull, Edinburgh
- December 21-23 – Taybridge Bar, Dundee
- December 28-30 – Bridge St. Social Club, Aberdeen
