EDINBURGH-based EPOS firm Zonal has appointed Leo Cunningham as its information security and compliance manager.
The newly-created role, based at Zonal’s headquarters in the capital, will see Cunningham lead the firm’s information security and compliance requirements to ensure it and its customers – many of whom are on-trade operators – are equipped to cope with changing cyber security requirements and regulations.
Cunningham brings ten years’ experience to the role, which includes stints working in risk management for finance, e-commerce and financial technology.
Zonal’s chief executive, Stuart McLean, said the new role signals the firm’s “commitment to protecting and supporting our customers – and further enhances what we already do as a company on a day to day basis”.
