A NEW owner is sought for a hotel in the Caithness village of Thurso.

Said to benefit from its central trading position on the North Coast 500 route (NC500) – an initiative designed to boost tourism in the traditionally less-visited parts of the northern Highlands – the Holborn Hotel has a “strong trading platform with strong income split across beverage, accommodation and catering sales”, according to ASG Commercial, which is marketing the hotel.

As well as 12 letting rooms, which are said to have 100% occupancy between May and September, the hotel includes the Red Pepper Restaurant, the No 16 Lounge Bar and the Mezzanine Pool Bar.

ASG Commercial is seeking offers over £599,000 for the freehold to the Holborn Hotel.
