A PERTHSHIRE pub has new owners at the helm for the first time in 25 years – the third owners in more than half a century.
Prior to the sale, the Strathord Inn, in the village of Stanley, had changed hands only once in 52 years.
Owned and operated by the Brough family for the past 25 years, the pub was sold via Cornerstone Business Agents to the Bygates.
Said to be well-presented with a “very traditional feel”, the pub operates solely on a wet basis. The property includes owner’s accommodation on the first floor.
The Strathord Inn was marketed with a guide price of £250,000 for the freehold; the final sale price was not disclosed.
