THE wait is almost over!
Seven months after we launched our annual search for the best in the business, we’re just seven days away from revealing the winners of this year’s SLTN Awards.
And, as you will see in the special preview brochure included with this issue of the paper, we have a line up of incredible finalists.
The standard of entries this year was exceptional; and travelling around the country this summer with our sponsor and independent judges only served to highlight the incredible businesses and inspirational operators and staff that make this trade so special.
In what has been a particularly tough year for the licensed trade, in which it has not only been hammered by huge rateable value hikes but faced with the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Brexit, business owners, operators and front and back of house staff have once again demonstrated the passion, creativity, resilience and true entrepreneurial spirit that make the Scottish hospitality industry a cut above.
Next Thursday (November 2), some of the brightest stars in the Scottish trade will be recognised at this year’s SLTN Awards, hosted by the brilliant Jimmy Carr.
It will give operators and staff from pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants across the country, who work so hard to earn Scottish hospitality its world class credentials, the moment in the spotlight they so deserve.
It’s going to be a cracking night!
