Revamped Glasgow bar open for business

The Boyd Roderick was launched following a £280,000 investment

A PUB on Glasgow’s south side has reopened following a £280,000 refurbishment.

The transformation of The Burrell on Pollokshaws Road included an overhaul of the interior decor and an extension to the venue’s kitchen.

The unit has now reopened as the Boyd Roderick, with a new menu featuring a range of Scottish produce.

The refurb was carried out as part of an investment programme by pubco owner Punch.

The pub is operated by Campbell Dickson and Calum Gillies of Caledonian Skye Ltd, which runs a number of other venues, including the Caledonian Cafe and the Portree Hotel on the Isle of Skye.
