TWELVE young unemployed people from Ayrshire have become the latest graduates from Diageo’s acclaimed Learning for Life training programme.
The course, provided by Ayrshire College, trained the group in hospitality and bartending skills. They were presented with diplomas at a ceremony held at the college’s Salt & Barrel training restaurant in Kilmarnock.
In three years, the programme has seen 78% of graduates secure roles in the hospitality sector.
