FAMILY-owned spirits firm William Grant & Sons has announced a trio of changes to its leadership team.
Rita Greenwood, previously managing director of UK & Ireland, has been promoted to the role of managing director of Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) as well as taking up a seat on the company’s executive board.
The move will see current UK commercial director Neil Barker take up the post vacated by Greenwood.
In addition, Chris Mason, formerly head of developed European markets, will move to a new role within the company’s corporate affairs department.
The news comes as a result of a shake-up in the global commercial structure at William Grant & Sons, which now consists of three regional divisions: the EMEA region, the Americas, and Asia.
The firm’s CEO, Simon Hunt, said the new structure “ensures that we are growing our own leadership capabilities internally”.
