NEW owners are sought for a family restaurant located in the Borders town of Kelso.
The 100-cover restaurant, owned by Brian and Joyce Campbell and currently run under management, is said to turn over £13,000 a week, with profit margins described as “higher than average”.
The property includes a three-bedroom flat, which is situated directly above the restaurant.
According to The Restaurant Agency, which is jointly marketing the property alongside Cornerstone Business Agents, the upstairs space could be adapted to suit a raft of different business purposes, including further restaurant space, bedrooms for a B&B operation, or use as owner’s accommodation.
Alan Goldie, director of The Restaurant Agency, said the business’s “strong sales along with the freehold makes it a very appealing proposition”.
The Restaurant Agency and Cornerstone are seeking offers over £750,000 for the freehold.
