Lessees take to pub like ducks to water

Ian and Irene Knotts, lessees of the newly named Dug ‘n’ Duck

A GLASGOW pub has reopened following a major refurbishment.

The Dug ‘n’ Duck in Millerston was subject to a £262,000 joint investment between pubco Punch and publicans Ian and Irene Knotts, who took over the outlet seven months ago.

The pub, which was previously called the New Inn, boasts a new menu focusing on ‘pub classics’, with dishes including fish and chips, lasagne, and steak and ale pie.

The pub’s long standing dog-friendly policy has carried over, with a specially designed dog menu to keep pooches happy.

Publican Ian said that the joint investment has given the pub “a new lease of life and we’re really looking forward to welcoming customers and showing them all the improvements that have been made to the Dug ‘n’ Duck”.
