A DUMFRIES pub with almost a century of trading history is up for sale.
Punch has appointed commercial property firm Colliers International to market the Abbey Inn.
The property has a public bar which can seat 40 people, a lounge with capacity for around 50 covers, and a function room with its own bar that can accommodate up to 80 people.
Paul Shiells, director of licensed and leisure at Colliers, said: “The Abbey Inn is a popular pub with a strong local following and should make an attractive investment for an ambitious publican or hospitality firm.
“It is being sold as a trading business complete with licence.”
Colliers is seeking offers of around £190,000 plus VAT for the freehold.
