A HOST of Old Firm legends joined forces for a charity football match organised by Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group which helped raise £19,000 for young people’s charity A&M Scotland.

Arthur Numan, Bert Konterman and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink flew in from Amsterdam to join former Rangers and Celtic players Charlie Miller and Simon Donnelly, ex Hamilton Accies team members Jose Quitongo and Mark McLaughlin, and charity co-founder Andy McLaren, who played for Dundee United, Kilmarnock, Partick Thistle and Morton, for the Legends football match.

The game was followed by a sportsman’s dinner at Manorview’s Busby Hotel on Glasgow’s south side, with the two events raising £19,000 for the charity.
Manorview boss Steve Graham said the charity makes a “real difference” to young people’s lives.

“I’m delighted to donate this money in the hope that it can help A&M continue their great work,” he said.
