STAR Pubs & Bars has launched Heineken’s new compact draught dispense system across its estate.
The SmartDispense Cool Flow Technology is designed for use in function rooms and outside bars, which may not have easy access to the outlet’s cellar.
The Heineken-owned pub company said this will enable licensees to offer “consistent great quality cold draught beer across their whole business”.
The new technology comes with one or two taps, and requires no cellar cooling.
Star Pubs & Bars managing director, Lawson Mountstevens, said: “We’re focused on building successful, long term pub businesses with multiple income streams.
“More licensees are developing function rooms and outside garden bars and maintaining quality cold draught beer in these areas will reduce pressure on their main bar.”
Meanwhile, Star Pubs & Bars is continuing the roll-out of its SmartDispense Module cellar system across its estate.
Around half of the company’s Scottish pubs now have the cellar system installed and it is scheduled to be installed in 60% of the firm’s Scottish outlets by the end of this year.
