A BISTRO and café business in Edinburgh’s Morningside has changed hands in an off-market deal.
The leasehold of the 40-cover Salt Café, which is located directly opposite Churchill Theatre, was acquired by Alastair and Jill Clark for an undisclosed sum; the sale was handled by The Restaurant Agency on behalf of John Hannay and Chris Miles, who developed the venue from scratch less than three years ago.
Alan Goldie of The Restaurant Agency said: “Having secured the site originally for Chris and John, we were delighted to be asked to find a buyer quietly and secure a deal for the leasehold going concern.”
