Gin festival is back in action

Touring event returns to Edinburgh this October

Gin fans in Edinburgh will have cause to celebrate this October when events company Ginfestival.com returns to the city’s Corn Exchange.

Visiting the city for the third consecutive year, Gin Festival Edinburgh will take place across four separate sessions from October 6 to October 8. The sessions last for four and a half hours each, with prices starting at £15 per ticket (excluding a booking fee).

Ginfestival.com was founded by husband and wife duo, Jym and Marie Harris. Both gin fans, they were determined to create a festival dedicated to the spirit. The business now hosts events across the UK.

Gin Festival Edinburgh will be the company’s second Scottish visit in 2017, after a Glasgow event in March was attended by 2450 gin fans.

The festival offers attendees the chance to try new gins and improve their overall knowledge of the spirit by talking to producers.

There is also food and live music.
Co-founder Jym Harris said: “We’re lucky enough to be visiting this award-winning venue and beautiful city for the third time.

“We can’t wait to party with Edinburgh once again and share some great new gins with our customers.”
