A non-alcoholic aperitif said to be the most popular in Italy is now available to the Scottish on-trade.
Campari-owned Crodino is described as the “perfect alternative to alcohol for the after-work and early evening drinks session”. Bitter in taste and golden in colour, the drink is created from a mixture of herbs, spices, woods and roots before being converted into blonde spirits.
Pietro Mattioni, managing director of Campari, said: “We continue to see great performance from our Italian brands. There is a clear demand for bitter drinks, so it’s great to be expanding our offering in the UK by adding a non-alcoholic aperitif.”
