A NEW range of flavoured tonic waters has been launched by drinks producer and distributor Halewood Wines & Spirits.
Lamb & Watt is made using Halewood’s Willow mineral water from the Lake District, quinine and organic blue agave from Mexico.
The range comprises four variants: Original, Cucumber, Basil and Hibiscus. Available to the on-trade in 200ml glass bottles, the tonic waters are said to complement both light and dark spirits, and can also be enjoyed on their own as a soft drink.
Leanne Ware, brand manager at Halewood Wines & Spirits, said consumer demand for quality mixers is increasing.
“In response to this growth, we have created Lamb & Watt – partly to complement our own expanding premium spirits offering but also to make our mark on the premium tonic category,” she said.
“We predict this brand will be a disrupter for the current booming tonic category, and will offer bartenders a refreshing point of difference to enhance the enjoyment of a variety of premium spirits, as well as offering an alternative to an alcoholic tipple.”
