WEST, the Glasgow brewer and bar operator, has launched a new bottled beer in time for the summer season.
Heidi-Weisse is a Bavarian-style wheat beer, bottled unfiltered at 5.2% ABV. It is a bottled version of the brewery’s established wheat beer, Hefeweizen, which was made possible thanks to a significant investment in the company last year.
West founder Petra Wetzel described Heidi-Weisse as “a great beer for the summer”.
“We don’t usually call ourselves ‘craft’ brewers, but Heidi-Weisse really is a hand-crafted beer, brewed from truly natural ingredients, unfiltered, unpasteurised and conditioned in the bottle,” said Wetzel.
“We’ve created a wholesome, fresh and natural beer that is nutritious as well as delicious.”
