A GROUP of east coast licensees got the chance to expand their wine knowledge recently during a trip to Rioja.
The group, comprising members of the Edinburgh and South East division of the Scottish Licensed Trade Association, visited several bodegas on a tour of the wine region earlier this month.
“Each visit was slightly different although the common element of each was the opportunity to sample some fine wines and tapas,” said E&SESLTA member Stuart Blaikie.
Bodegas visited included Marqués de Cáceres, LAN, Ontanon and Don Jacobo.
