FOOD and drinks festival North Hop returns to the granite city this weekend with a host of breweries, spirit producers and food suppliers on hand for the two-day event.
North Hop Aberdeen will take place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre across April 14 and 15 with highlights including local brewery Fierce Beer unveiling a new festival brew, LoneWolf Spirits releasing a one-off gin, and the launch of a festival cider from Dunbar-based Thistly Cross.
Festival organiser Michelle Russell said North Hop Aberdeen is “always a runaway success” and she expects this year will be the same. “People just can’t get enough of it and we have capacity for 1000 people,” said Russell. “There’s an exciting food and drink scene in the north east of Scotland and beyond and it’s always fascinating to find out what various producers are bringing to North Hop.”
