GLASGOW-based coffee and tea supplier Matthew Algie has been appointed as the official UK, Ireland and European distributor of US-based espresso machine manufacturer, Synesso.
Matthew Algie, which was acquired by German coffee and foodservice business Tchibo late last year, will launch the Synesso MVP espresso machine range in the UK market at the London Coffee Festival next week (April 6 to 9); Synesso’s owner and designer, Mark Barnett, will join the Matthew Algie team at the festival for the range’s UK debut.
The Synesso MVP range is said to be versatile, designed to adapt to suit a wide range of users and able to switch quickly between manual mode, manual programme mode or volumetric mode.
Andrew Jack, head of marketing at Matthew Algie, said the London Coffee Festival is “the perfect platform” to introduce the Synesso range to the UK market.
“We are excited to have been appointed as the official distributor of this exceptional brand in the UK and Europe and know that pairing it with our hand roasted range will be a winning combination,” said Jack.
