The Piecebox Café/Bar in Edinburgh has a new owner at the helm following a deal brokered by The Restaurant Agency.
Situated on the corner of Polwarth Crescent and Merchiston Avenue, the 45-cover outlet is said to have attracted a strong level of interest. Following a closing date for offers proposed, an early bid secured the business for purchaser Audrey Thorburn; it was sold from an asking price of £85,000 for the leasehold going concern.
Alan Goldie, director of The Restaurant Agency, who handled the sale, said the business “proved a popular offering and, combined with a stability of trade, healthy trading figures and good lease, the interest was strong”.
