Scottish teams break through

• The semi-final is next week.

Four teams from Scottish colleges have fought their way into the semi-finals of this year’s Country Range Student Chef competition.
Next week, students from Glasgow Clyde College and City of Glasgow College as well as two teams from Ayrshire College will duke it out with 16 other competing teams from across the UK, creating their own three-course, three cover menu around the theme of ‘healthy gourmet fine dining’ .
Eight teams will then make it through to the final which will take place on March 15 at ScotHot in Glasgow.
