A SPECIAL anniversary bottling of single malt The Dalmore has been released to mark master distiller Richard Paterson’s 50th year in the whisky industry.
The 50 year old whisky has been matured in a combination of American white oak and Matusalem oloroso sherry casks before a final 50-day ‘finesse’ in Champagne casks from Domaine Henri Giraud.
The whisky will be presented in a crystal decanter in a presentation case, with just 50 decanters released.
“This is a special year for me so I chose to finesse this whisky in a Champagne cask, as this magnificent drink is synonymous with celebratory occasions,” said Paterson.
