A sweet addition

• Quince Gin is bottled at 43% ABV.

THE Whitley Neill gin range has been extended with the launch of a new quince variant.
Made using quince fruit juice, Whitley Neill Quince Gin is described as having “complex flavours and aromas” and a “smooth, sweet flavour”.
The 43% ABV spirit can be served with soda water and a squeeze of lime or used as a base in a number of seasonal serves.
A spokeswoman for Whitley Neill at Halewood Wines & Spirits said: “We wanted to develop a liquid which offers consumers something completely different, and this is the first UK gin which uses real quince fruit juice alongside a range of other ingredients to create a particularly smooth, sweet gin.
“Whitley Neill Quince Gin also benefits from the continuing growth of premium gins whilst providing bartenders a genuine point of difference in their offering to consumers. We’re thrilled to launch the first ever quince gin in the UK market and look forward to our customers enjoying it.”
