The Coulard Inn was acquired by John Martin for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of offers over ÂŁ250,000 for the freehold in a deal brokered by Christie & Co.
The inn is said to be popular with local customers and RAF personnel from the nearby Lossiemouth base, as well as visitors to the area, which is said to be popular with sailing and golf fans.
Ken Sims, director at Christie & Co who handled the sale, said: “The Coulard is a valued pub in the middle of a residential area, and is an asset within the local community. I’m sure that the residents of Lossie will support John in his new venture.”
