QB is made with Suffolk quince and wild bullace (a variety of plum) said to have been foraged in East Anglia. Signature serve the QB and Ginger combines the gin liqueur with ginger ale, garnished with a strip of orange peel; it is also recommended served neat with crushed ice or in a Champagne cocktail.
Stephen Marsh, MD of holding company Ginmeister, said: “Encouraging feedback from bars and customers at events convinced us to go commercial, though with wild bullace in short supply we’ll only ever be producing a limited amount each season.
“Pinkster sales are flying and it firmly remains our flagship brand but we’ll certainly be looking at other quirky, fruity variations to broaden our portfolio and introduce people to new drinking experiences, just as we’ve successfully done with raspberries.”
