The team behind delicatessen-styled bar and restaurant brand Zique is set to expand its footprint in Glasgow following the purchase of the former Bowlers bar in the city’s east end.
Purchasing the property through a deal brokered by Smith & Clough Business Associates, Mhairi Taylor, owner of Zique-branded venues Cafezique and Delizique in the west end of Glasgow, plans an extensive refurbishment of the site before opening Zique on the Green as a cafe bar, restaurant and bakery complete with rooftop terrace next year.
Jonathan Clough of Smith & Clough said he reckons the Zique on the Green concept “will be extremely well received in the local area”.
