Doguleas Laing & Co, the independent whisky bottler, has launched a festive edition of its Big Peat whisky.
Big Peat Christmas 2016 is a cask strength (54.6% ABV) version of the whisky, which is a blend of malts from Islay.
The limited edition Christmas version contains liquid from all active distilleries on the island as well as the long-closed Port Ellen distillery.
“Big Peat’s annual Christmas release has become a hotly anticipated bottling by friends of our peaty Ileach fisherman across the globe,” said Douglas Laing & Co marketing manager, Jenny Rogerson.
“We’re more excited than ever to reveal this year’s limited edition, an undisputedly innovative product in terms of both spirit and packaging.”
The firm is releasing just 2500 cases of Big Peat Christmas 2016 globally.
