Campbell departs Tennent’s

Alastair Campbell

TENNENT’S managing director Alastair Campbell is leaving the company just over a year after taking on the role.

Campbell, who joined Tennent’s as managing director in July 2015, will leave the business on Friday September 2 to pursue other interests.

Parent company C&C Group is now combining the managing director roles of Tennent’s and C&C Brands, with current C&C Brands managing director Andrea Pozzi taking on both roles.

“I’m proud to take on the role of managing director at Tennent’s – a true Scottish icon since 1556,” said Pozzi.

“We’ve put in place a strong management team and a passionate and committed workforce across the Tennent’s business and I look forward to working with everyone to deliver our vision of being the foremost brewer and wholesaler serving the licensed trade in Scotland.”

The management team in Scotland now consists of finance director Ewan Robertson, marketing director Paul Condron, on-trade sales director Alan Hay and business development director John Gilligan.
