A FIFE pub has changed hands after almost three decades under the same ownership.
The Gauldry Arms, in the village of Gauldry near Newport-on-Tay, has been owned and operated by Mr and Mrs Simpson for the past 27 years, during which time the pub is said to have established an “integral relationship with the local community” and a loyal clientele.
Currently trading on wet sales only, the pub is said to offer scope for new owner, Bob Moncur, to expand the business with a food offer.
Jayne Adamson of Bruce & Co, who handled the sale, said she is “pleased the vendors are able to retire knowing that their business has been taken over by someone very capable”.
