A CONSULTATION on the rules limiting the volume of amplified music in Edinburgh’s on-trade comes to a close on July 22 opening up the possibility that regulations could be loosened for licensed premises.
At the request of the Edinburgh Licensing Forum, City of Edinburgh Council opened the consultation in April.
The forum suggested amending the board’s policy statement to include more flexible criteria for pubs and bars.
